PUH-LEZ! Connotation +

Connotation:

Humorous exaggerated of “Please”, gives a connotation of

“You’re trying way to hard. It’ll be easier to listen to if you say it rather directly.”

Scenario:

At a family meal time, a baby is sitting on a booster chair and the parents are sitting next to him. Trying to feed the baby, they try all different things, “Choo Choo Tranin!” or “Weeee~ Airplane!”

Finally baby grabs a spoon and says “Oh, PUH-LEZ!” and the baby puts the spoonful of food into his mouth.

Tagline shows up with a voice.

“Com’on. Family, Pul-lez! Just talk to them. They’re not babies.”

Variation:

At the end, the grown up (20’s) version of ‘baby’ is sitting at the table. Turns out that the image of baby is how parents see their grown up son/daughter.

Target and Achievement:

This scenario is targeted towards parents to talk deeply about the things that matter to his family, especially their children.

Taglines:

Com’on. Just talk to them. They’re not babies.

Talk to them. They’ll understand.
